Programme
13:30 Registration. Number of participants is limited to 50

14:00-17:00 Workshop

Part 1: Providing a constant process heat stream out of a fluctuating (waste) heat stream by inserting a thermal storage unit.

Ir. Kenny Couvreur and Dr. Ir. Sergei Gusev, UGent TEI - Belgium

Important notice:
Caused by a damage to the PCM storage tank that arose during very recent tests, unfortunately we’ll not be able to perform the planned real life demonstration as the damage is not repairable within the remaining time and we’ve to think how we can prevent recurrence.
All explanation, a visit to the setup, presentation and discussion of our first measurement results as well as lessons learned, among others from the accident are still planned.
The second part about the TOP Energy software tool will not change at all.
Also we’re convinced we can still offer a very attractive workshop.
